US Arabian Horse Registry [USAHR] takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy. What this Privacy Policy Covers : This Privacy Policy covers USAHR’s treatment of personally identifiable information that USAHR collects when you are on their registration site, registry.USAHR.org. This policy also covers USAHR’s treatment of any personally identifiable information that USAHR’s business partners share with USAHR or that UAHR may collect on a partner’s site. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that USAHR does not own or control, or to people that USAHR does not employ or manage.

Information Collection : USAHR collects personally identifiable information when you register for a “registration” account, when you visit pages on registry.USAHR.org, and when you enter promotions conducted on registry.USAHR.org. USAHR may also collect personally identifiable information when you visit or register with a site maintained by an affiliate of USAHR. USAHR may also receive personally identifiable information from other sources. When you register for an account on registry.USAHR.org, we may ask for your name, e-mail address, birth date, telephone number, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you register on registry.USAHR.org and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. USAHR also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, USAHR cookie information, and the page you requested.

Information Use : USAHR uses the information it gathers on you for four general purposes: (i) to distribute to customers and affiliates of USAHR that offer products and services for sale to USAHR’s users so that they may inform you about such products and services, (ii) to customize the advertising and content you see on registry.USAHR.org, (iii) to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and (iv) to contact you about specials/promotions and new products. As you browse USAHR, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number. In the alternative, if you wish to opt out of this type of data collection, you can disable cookies in your web browser.

Information Sharing and Disclosure : USAHR may otherwise, without notice, distribute personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when: We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested; We need to send the information to companies that work for or on behalf of USAHR to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.) We respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal process or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; or We find that your actions on our web sites violate the TJC Terms and Conditions of Use.

In some cases, USAHR uses contact forms for visitors who choose to use these forms to provide information and request information. We collect your willingly submitted contact information (such as your email address, name, address and phone number). Contact information from these response forms is  used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary in order to resolve customer service issues or questions. Users may readily opt out of receiving future communications.

Cookies : USAHR may set and access registry.USAHR.org cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small data file that is stored on your computer. A cookie contains a unique identifying feature that allows our computer to recognize you when you return to the site. The recorded IP address tells us which domain you visited from (for instance, yahoo.com), but not your email address or other private and personal information. USAHR allows other companies that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to registry.USAHR.org cookies. USAHR uses web beacons to access our cookies within and outside our network of web sites and in connection with USAHR products and services. We use the information we record to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer this website more effectively, and to gather broad demographic information about what countries and domains our visitors come from and their behavior on our site.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences : You may edit your registry.USAHR.org account information and preferences, including whether you want USAHR to contact you about specials/promotions and new products by contacting USAHR at usahregistry@gmail.com Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Central Time.

Our online surveys may ask visitors for contact information (such as their email address) as well as a variety of demographic and practical questions. We may use contact data from our surveys to send the user information about the Treasure Sale. The user’s contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the “opt out” and “modifying your information” sections below.

Opt out
If you are receiving communication from USAHR and you wish to opt-out, please contact us and we will unsubscribe you from receiving further communications from USAHR. When contacting USAHR to change your status, be sure to include any information that would help us identify you on our lists, such as complete contact information (name, postal address, telephone number, and email address), or information about venues in which you gave USAHR your contact information online (guestbook, survey, etc.)

You may request deletion of your registry.USAHR.org account by contacting USAHR at usahregistry@gmail.com (during the hours noted above) and requesting termination of your account.

Security : Your registry.USAHR.org account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas USAHR uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

Changes to this Privacy Policy : USAHR may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.

USAHR takes seriously its responsibility to protect its intellectual property, including without limitation its trademarks, service marks, and copyrights.
